Nebraska ranks #2 in the nation for AI adoption, but most small businesses and individuals still don’t know how to use it. This new initiative aims to change that.
OMAHA, NE — A bold new force is emerging in the Silicon Prairie. Nebrask.AI (pronounced Nebraska AI), co-founded by digital transformation strategist and educator Jess Goldoni and AI consultant and tech educator Jeannie North, officially launches this month with a mission to grow AI skills across Nebraska and beyond.
The timing couldn’t be better: Nebraska is now the second-fastest state in the nation adopting AI, right behind Virginia. But while adoption is accelerating, many small businesses and working professionals still lack the know-how to put AI to work in ways that save time, drive growth, and keep their skills relevant in a rapidly changing job market. Nebrask.AI exists to bridge that gap.
The venture combines workshops, certifications, and hands-on consulting tailored for small business owners, entrepreneurs, and individuals who want to stay competitive in their careers. Unlike traditional tech programs that prioritize jargon and theory, Nebrask.AI is rooted in real-world application and Midwest sensibility.
“There’s a massive opportunity here in the Midwest to lead, not just catch up,” said Goldoni. “We’re seeing huge interest from business owners and professionals who want to do more than just understand AI. They want to use it to build real momentum in their work and careers.”
“AI shouldn’t be reserved for tech giants or coastal startups,” said North. “We’re building tools, courses, and training for the rest of us, entrepreneurs, employees, and businesses who want to move faster, work smarter, and stay competitive in a world that’s changing by the minute.”
